Be human in interviews

One good tip I give in my mentorship program is about interviews. I've been in a lot of interviews, both as an interviewee and as an interviewer. My main tip is: hey, show your human side. Tell your stories. Tell them your experiences, your needs at the time you were living those stories, or even now when negotiating or setting expectations.

Remember, we are all human and humans are complex but also... human. So show your human side, show your needs, show the entirety of you. The company is not hiring only your expertise, it's also hiring you.
